Food: Fuel Your Spirit Fire

Let's take a moment to redefine food. It's not just something you eat to keep your stomach quiet. It's not something you put in your body to change your mood. Food is the CONNECTION of our bodies to this earth. Remember, your body is the temple of your spirit. So, the link we are working with is Earth = Food = Body = Spirit. Look at those two powerful forces on either end of this equation! Two living entities of magick.


The defining principles of food that make it powerful are WHY we consume it, HOW we consume it, and the MINDFULNESS of our consumption. These are the same thoughts used when presenting a mindful offering to a deity; your spirit is worthy of those same considerations.


So how can you turn your plate into a tool? We already talked about what should be on your plate on day 1 (high quality living foods). To make those high quality foods work for you, there has to be some thought surrounding your meal. You need to explore foods that prepare your body & spirit for the kind of day you will be experiencing. You need to think about how your body would like those offerings presented.
