Motivation: Creating Time

Everything you are working toward in life takes time. Not just in the proverbial sense that experience + age = wisdom. I mean doing all those little tasks that lead you on those baby steps of your journey takes actual minutes out of your day.
You need to physically give yourself time. If you think you don’t have time to do something, then you are not trying hard enough. Think of your time as a budget: are you overspending in some areas but not saving enough of it for others? You cannot put extra hours in a day, but you can borrow from less needed activities to give to the ones that you are working on right now (everything has its season) .
It means you need to become aware of where you are spending all those precious minutes in your day. Evening screen time could be swapped or shared with a bit of stretching. Instead of waiting in the car for your kids to get a move on it, light a fire under them while you pick up laundry or write a few items on a shopping list that you're gonna hit the grocery store with after work so you can prep a healthy dinner. Or that thing you do out of habit that doesn't really bring you joy (whatever it is), swap it out with for a new activity.
Analyze your routines & make a game plan of how to improve your daily time budget. You might feel busier at first- because your brain is trying to adapt to new routine / activity. Just stick to it & not only will it become easier, but it will become incredibly satisfying once you start reaping the rewards. You can't expect your life to CHANGE if you live each day the same way. So shake it up & be mindful, love!

Oml this was really resonating with me today considering I was thinking how I need to better use my time doing nothing— doing something! Winter break has me hibernating lol. Think I’ll know what to do next #wholenesschallengemagic
