Finding a Majik Teacher: Ideas & Suggestions

Work has been my primary focus these past couple of weeks, but tonight I decided to take a moment out to share my thoughts with you all. It's healing for me and I think it may be helpful to you.

I am working to attract a new Teacher. I want someone kind, clean, well-off, clear-minded, hardworking, caring, considerate, loving (like a Father or Mother), and honorable. I desire someone who will connect easily and appropriately with me and use their words to lead and educate me. I'm a big word person and thrive when I can read instructions or listen to carefully constructed instructions.

I'm sharing all of this with you beautiful people because I get asked, all the time: "How do I find a teacher?" Well, I have to first warn you that there is absolutely no need to rush.

Understand that your first and last Teacher is the guide that leads from within. I think a major part of self-care must be to nurture this relationship and to trust it above, beyond, and before all things.

I feel an urge to cast a spell and attract my Teacher, a crone I can serve and with whom I can work closely. I can already feel her and I am so grateful and honored. I know that we will connect when I am ready. I believe this understanding is the strongest aspect increasing the likelihood of my finding and connecting with a new Teacher. I think this thought can and will help you too.

In order to begin the work of aligning yourself with someone who will teach you the magickal things you may desire to know, I believe the first step is to begin using the knowledge you already possess to the best of your ability. After that, you need to study and learn on your own or with a tight-knit group of trusted friends.

There are tons of papers that have been written by competent teachers which you can find if you are sharp-minded, diligent, and clear about what you are looking for. These two simple steps will begin to prepare you and as they say: When the student is ready the Teacher appears. I've always found this to be true.

Tomorrow, the leo total lunar eclipse is coming to bless us and I am grateful. I'll be mixing up some of my majik Magnetism oil. And while I do, I think I'll put out some fresh flowers for my ancestors, work my sweet jar, and request that the ideal Teacher be sent to me. In the meantime, I'll be working.
