Environment: Creating Space to Thrive In

Create space you can thrive in. Think about what level of cleanliness / organization you require to function & get your space in that state. Really ask yourself what you NEED. A method of surrounding yourself with only that which adds to your life-fire is to hold or contemplate each object in your home & if it brings you joy then keep it. Anything you've forgotten about or doesn't make you feel ALIVE needs to go.

Also, try to emphasize space that will move you toward your goals. This might look like getting a book shelf, a comfy chair & a little writing desk so you can spend more time learning. It could even mean getting a bigger bed with comfy sheets & getting the TV out of your room. Or Perhaps it means stocking your kitchen with a juicer, a bigger cutting board & more cooking utensils. Whatever it is that you need in life, make a plan / save up for it / MAKE IT YOUR REALITY.

Another consideration is: are you really happy with what you’ve become used to? Can you think of little improvements that would help ease the 1000 tiny anxieties that you learned to live with? Do you need to add a new step in your day to address the upkeep of your space (I go around and pick up all the stray objects that I can find in 5 min and put them back- that helps me visually to feel better but also takes away that nagging sensation of chaos out of the back of my mind). Work to remove that which you don't need whether it's objects, messes, people, etc. Your space should be your SANCTUARY.

Blessings. Yaaaaaaas!!!! I intuitively did this last week and it made me actually just feel better! The three trips to my local Goodwill was worth it because a week later, my space’s energy is inviting and I get a hug every time I go into a different room!
